Hmm, not posted anything on here for ages!
Anyway, to get going again, here is a tiny python library for interfacing to Google’s Streetview. It can download the tiles, but can also decode the panorama and depth map information. The depth map is used to do the cursor which snaps to the surrounding buildins etc.
I’ve also been having ideas for improving my etch tank.. I need to find some plastic containers which stack within one another. Must investigate tall soup containers from supermarkets when I have the chance…
